AI is moving beyond analyzing scientific data and into something far more interesting: helping researchers uncover previously unknown physical behavior. In a new study, an AI model analyzed 3D particle motion in dusty plasma and identified complex, non-reciprocal forces with more than 99% accuracy, challenging assumptions that had been part of existing theories.
